Ludhiana Management Association was formed in 1978 as an affiliated unit of All India Management Association, New Delhi, with the initiative of management academicians, senior executives & industrialists.

Main objectives of LMA - To enhance competence of member organizations through management education; to provide training & development to entrepreneurs & executives at all levels: Interaction with top-notch industrialists & CEOs & to provide a platform for management professionals & entrepreneurs to discuss their issues.

Membership Landscape - Over the period it has come of as one of the most outstanding and fast growing management association in Northern India with 750 leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, top management executives, management academicians, bankers, & professionals.

Some Accolades - LMA has been conferred with Best LMA award for the year 2010 & again for the year 2014 on all India basis by All India Management Association, New Delhi.

Some Past Presidents - LMA has been led by a galaxy of eminent industrialists. Two past presidents namely Sh. Brijmohan Lall Munjal (Chairman, Hero Motocorp Limited) and Mr. S.P. Oswal (Chairman Vardhman Group) have been awarded Padma Bhushan while past president Mr. Rajinder Gupta (Trident Group) has been awarded Padma Shri. Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal, (Chairman, Hero Corporate Services Limited) has also been the Past President of Confederation of Indian Industries.
