Healthy Living, Healthy Nation

Healthy Nation begins with Healthy Me’. Health is not just the absence of disease; it is a state of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Fundamental to everything we do, health enables us to engage with life. Without health, we cannot manage relationships with our families and friends, fully participate in our chosen work, contribute meaningfully to our communities, or effectively compete on the global stage.

A Healthy Nation is a Wealthy Nation & Healthy citizens are its greatest asset. Nutrition vs Ageing

The main characteristics of a true Punjabi are ‘Eat, play & be merry’ and Ludhianvis are no exceptions with lots of unavoidable occasions of dining out, late night parties etc. But the place where we need to put our step down is the moment we cross the age of 30’s.

Healthy eating begins with you. Giving your body the right nutrients and maintaining a healthy weight can help you stay active, independent, and also spend less time and money at the health centres.

LMA provides you an opportunity to be aware of your changing nutrient needs and reduce the age related risks of chronic diseases. You can learn how small substitutions can make a big difference in your life and enable you revert from calorie dense foods to nutrient dense ones.

Seminar on Wealth Creation through Art - cum Dinner Meeting

Art is globally established as an alternate asset class for centuries, with many European families treating art as 'family silver' since generations. This trend is likely to catch up in India, with the wealth creation cycle only gaining momentum and an ever increasing interest in 'investments of passion'. Even after the top end Indian artists have grown tremendously in value over the last decade, the highest priced Indian painting (Rs 29 crore for a VS Gaitonde) is less than 1% of the value of the highest priced International painting (Rs 2,940 crore for a Leonardo da Vinci). All this clearly suggests that there is significant headroom for Indian art market to grow as we see more and more Indian collectors emerging as well as global collectors adding Indian art to their collections.

To get a better understanding of above subject, Ludhiana Management Association has invited Mr Rishiraj Singh Sethi, for a thoughtful and engaging interaction on ‘Wealth Creation through Art’. Rishiraj is a CA and CFA (US) who after working for Andersen / Ernst & Young ("EY") for 11 years, has spent the last decade in developing Aura Art as a leading Integrated Art House and expanding the culture of collecting art throughout India. He is now recognized as a thought leader in the space, speaking regularly at forums as well as contributing articles, besides authoring the recent publication "The science behind valuing art" alongwith EY.

The event details are as follows:

Speaker : Rishiraj Singh Sethi, Director, Aura Art Development Pvt Ltd, Mumbai
Subject : Wealth Creation through Art
Date : 8th March, 2018 (Thursday); Time : 7:30 p.m.
Venue : Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana

The session will be highly informative and insightful. You are cordially invited to attend the programme along with your spouse. This lecture will be followed by dinner.

The guest/family members are not allowed. If any members is interested to bring his guest or family member he should inform LMA office & pay guest charges i.e Rs 1180/- per person.
